31-60 Days before 1st day of Retreat: Cancellation charge 75% of full tuition and associated fees.
30 Days or Less before 1st day of Retreat: Cancellation charge 100% of full tuition and associated fees.
(b) Once the retreat has commenced, no refund or part refund or unused portion of your payment will be repaid in the event of cancellation by you. If the reason for cancellation is covered under the terms of an Insurance Policy, you may be able to reclaim these charges.
AMENDMENTS BY US
It is unlikely that we will make any changes to the retreat, as we plan the arrangements many months to a year in advance. Occasionally, minor changes may have to be made (to itineraries, venue accommodation, curriculum, other amenities), which we reserve the right to do at any time. Changes are normally minor and we will advise you as soon as possible. If a significant change becomes necessary, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible.
CANCELLATION BY US
We reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel the retreat, in which case we will offer a refund of full monies paid for the tuition of the retreat. We are not responsible for flights and transportation nor will transportation be refunded.
OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
(a) We accept responsibility for ensuring that the retreat, classes, and workshops that you register for are supplied as described and that the services we are contractually obliged to provide are provided at a reasonable standard.
(b) We do not take responsibility for optional trips/excursions booked locally and outside of the scheduled itinerary.
(c) There are risks inherent with any activity and with physical exercise such as yoga and hiking. We strongly recommend that you consult your doctor before travel to advise on your ability to undertake strenuous exercise. You should make the doctor and us aware of any medical condition which may affect your ability and comfort when undergoing vigorous exercise. It is the participant’s responsibility to disclose and medical issues or injuries to the teacher. It is the participant’s responsibility to determine whether they are physically fit and capable to participate in the classes.
If you have a problem during the retreat, please inform the teacher or assistant immediately, and we will endeavor to put things right. Please note that we cannot be responsible for the individual behavior of any group member or other guest at your accommodation. We will do our best to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all participants.
RULES & CONDUCT
(a) Heaven and Earth Retreats are a gluten free, sugar free (other than honey), largely dairy free (occasional butter or light aged cheeses), largely grain free (any grains used are soaked, all nuts and seeds are soaked and dehydrated) retreat center. The food will be lovingly prepared for you each day. Medical related food restrictions are accommodated. Please honor this healthy space by leaving any processed foods at home. If this is not your typical way of eating and you feel adverse to it, consider if this retreat is right for you.
(b) You will be a guest. Please remember to be courtesy, kind, and respectful of the other guests and hosts.
(c) Alcohol is not provided on this retreat, but is available if you go out on excursions. As adults, you are required to monitor your alcohol intake. At any time, if you become intoxicated, incoherent due to consumption, rude, disrespectful or disruptive to the group, you will be asked to leave the following day without refund. Please consider that many people go on retreats to remove themselves from habitual or additive behavior or substances.
(d) You are in no way required to participate in any group activities or classes. If you do choose to participate, please be respectful of your body, the instructor, and fellow participants.
PASSPORTS, VISAS AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
You are responsible for ensuring that you have a valid passport, any necessary visas and any required inoculations or other health requirements prior to arrival.
